The book has some great exercises that helped me practice before the test. The longer you practice the better you get at it and they also had very clear steps that show you exactly what you need to do to arrive at the accurate answer that was you calculation of the dose you are giving is not too much or too little to damage the patient which is very important in the healthcare. I believe most schools need you to pass this course with at least 3.8GPA so there is very little if not any room for mistakes.
Our med essentials book didn't come with how to do calculations, so we received a packet, but there weren't any practice problems. I found this as an excellent supplement to my original text.
I suck in math!!! I got this book bc its required for my rn program. Before starting the nursing program, I was so scared bc I suck in math & told us we have a dosage calculation test every semester we have to pass w a 90% or higher. This book literally goes step by step with great explanation, it has formula boxes with tips to remember in each chapter. There are plenty of practice questions. I got 100% on all my hw & I passed my dosage calculation exam with a 100%, hands down the best!!! Its worth it!!!!

This book arrived ahead of time that it was scheduled and in perfect condition! This book was not required for my class, but recommended. I bought it anyways and I am so glad I did!! This book explains how to do nursing dosages and calculations to a T! It has pictures and step by steps that make it so easy to learn. Amazing textbook!
I was under the impression that I was getting the access code sealed with the book. The description said sealed access code but it had already been unsealed and used. Otherwise book was in excellent condition
I loved my book! I received it a day before the estimated delievery. It only took 6 days. It was brand new as shown in previous pictures posted. It had the new book smell and obviously no writing.
